I am the cooperative spirit, and I have been in Montana the next few
months visiting all of Montana’s credit unions and attending all kinds
of events that personify the spirit of a financial
cooperative. There are stories and photos of my adventures here on the page that documents
my travels.
It has been
SO much fun attending
board meetings, member appreciation barbeques, community events, and
seeing all the families and consumers that are helped by being members
of a credit union.
YOUR cooperative spirit
We held prize drawings for participation along the way-- read about the winners below.
September 10 -- Prize WinnersThanks for all the FUN I've been having! We tossed the names of everyone who send in a photo, posed with COOP, or mailed us a postcard by noon on September 10. And, drum roll please....

Most Creative/Unique Place COOP popped upTo spark a little creativity, we offered a special prize -- a poster that states the "
10 Reasons CO-OPs Rock!"-- for the most original place COOP was sighted this past month. It wasn't easy -- but two entries floated to the top. One that offered a look at the commitment and, uhm, courage it takes to be a cooperative spirit. Here are
the winners.Fall Forum AwardsWe closed out the campaign during the Fall Forum in Helena October 23-25 and drew for additional prizes. We awarded a few prizes for "above and beyond" participation, and drew for others from the full list of participants, and for "Most Spirited" awards from creative and active participants.
